  For my first boat I decided to buy a 1992 Carver Santego. I found one online at Pirate Cove Marina, and bought it over the phone. They were great to deal with over the phone and when I took the trip from Barrie ON to Kemptville they were even nicer in person.

  Location is wonderful but sorely lacking in amenities. Pool is frequently not opened for use until mid June. Washrooms are sub par to say the least. A recent fee increase has somewhat thinned the membership at this marina. Staff and sales very friendly though. A little more investment from the owners and this could be one of the best marinas in the area .

  Pirates Cove is a wonderful Marina. The staff are approachable, friendly, informative and professional. We purchased our gorgeous Lund Tyee last Fall (a great deal) and had lessons today on the Rideau!! Mark knows his boats - couldn't ask for a better teacher. My husband and I highly recommend and give five stars with no hesitation!!!

  Took the boat for a test drive and it went well so I signed off and began my trip back to Barrie. When I arrived in Barrie there was an issue with the power steering so I called them and asked if they had any suggestions. Moe, told me to hang tight and he had someone he knew in the area take a look at it; they fixed the problem for me and covered the cost.

  I spoke with them in regards to my pontoon issues and they guided me to where i am satified with the way my pontoon is operating now.
